My frequent prayer: Lord, give me patience and give it to me now. 😉

😆 It is something God delights to give, but the
process isn’t usually described by me as delightful. I try to consider those trials all joy, and it is easier when I remember that the testing produces endurance / patience / steadfastnesss. But oh, how right you are… God gives generously and the process is usually ample opportunity to practice

Patience is definitely an area I am always needing more practice in! More surrendering to the Holy Spirit’s work in me!

Me too… this definition is an especially convicting one, as I’m always wanting a plan for how to move ‘through’ a challenging situation, hustling to the ‘light at the end of the tunnel’, so to speak. … without giving Him a deadline… That tells me a lot of the patience [I think] I have is insincere.
