SuperPower Sunday: Responsibility

Welcome to Superpower Sunday!

This week’s Super-Character skill is Responsibility:

Knowing and doing what both God and others are expecting of me.

Character Bookshelf Series, Institute in Basic Youth Conflicts

“So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.”

Romans 14:12

Please Share! In the comments section below, let us know what you learned and tell your success stories from the last week of practicing resourcefulness. Also, we’d love to read your ideas of how we might exercise responsibility between now and next Superpower Sunday!

Our pastor’s sermon this morning was on the original sin of Adam and Eve…and how each of them shifted the blame to someone else for their sin, instead of taking responsibility for it and repenting. It’s so easy to see how we do the very same thing today! Excusing our wickedness instead of ‘fessing up! Yep, that responsibility virtue is most definitely needed, and it covers a lot of territory! 🙂

Hmmm … One thing I’ve decided to do this week, is to fully immerse myself in my worship and study times, as my parents like to see me doing and as God delights to see. Thank you for the boost! I’ll check back in again at the next superpower sunday! XD
