God didn’t tell me just to hope and pray for America to change. He told me to humble myself, pray and seek His face, and turn from my sin. I don’t need to bring revival to the country, only to me. If each of God’s people would change only themselves, God would change the World.

Absolutely! I totally agree . Unfortunately, how many people do you know who are willing to be humble, even before God? It is appalling to me, but there it is. Even my own children, only 1/2 would be willing! It makes me so sad.

Thank you, Mama Lava for this concise and always relevant message. There is also a lot less stress and anxiety when we learn to humble ourselves, pray, and seek our LORD’s face rather than trying to change the country or others. This is a great reminder. Yehovah bless you.

Amen to the less stress! I don’t think God ever meant for us to carry the burden of bringing about change in others. It is something we’ve put on ourselves. Changing others is God’s job. Changing us is too, but we do have to surrender and cooperate. That is all we need to focus on. Have a blessed day, sister!
