Would you choose to be in the confidence of God Almighty?

“My son…
Do not envy the violent or choose any of their ways. For the Lord detests the perverse but takes the upright into his confidence.”

Proverbs 3:31-32

My beloved child,

Would you choose to be in the confidence of God Almighty? Imagine a friendship where the Lord of all creation trusts you with His secrets. Would you like to be someone upon whom He relies?

Then do not envy or imitate violent people. Do not choose to participate in their activities. Do not even entertain their thoughts or engage in their attitudes.

For, if you are perverse – irritable, unreasonable – the Lord will turn away from you. But if you are upright – honorable, virtuous – He will make you privy to all that He has, with all that He is. The choice is yours. Would you choose to be in the confidence of God Almighty?
